VIDEO: Giant, Inflatable Chicken With Trump Hair Erected Across From White House
That's gotta hurt.
WASHINGTON, DC — A giant balloon shaped like a chicken and topped with an unmistakable golden tuft of Donald Trump hair was erected Wednesday afternoon on the lawn of the Ellipse, a public park located just south of the White House.
Taran Singh Brar, listed online as a DC-based activist and lead organizer for Chicago's Tax Day March back in April, told a journalist at the scene that the $1,300 inflatable chicken belonged to him.
He said he erected it to show that "Trump is too chicken to release his tax returns, to stand up to Putin."

The Ellipse lawn chicken is identical to ones that appeared earlier this year at Tax Day March events across the country, held in protest of the president's refusal to release his tax returns. And those chickens, it turns out, were modeled after a strange statue erected outside a Chinese mall in late 2016 as a "mascot" and a tribute to the Year of the Rooster.
And here's some more
A bunch of replicas in various forms — including T-shirts, coffee mugs, ceramic statues and, yes, giant inflatable balloons — are currently up for auction on eBay.

Patch could not immediately confirm who was responsible for Wednesday's stunt. But a series of tweets from a Twitter user named "Tax March Chicken" implied the march's organizers at least played a role:
This isn't my first rodeo. I've been all over the country crashing Trump events /1

He needs to show how he'll benefit from his giveaways to billionaires. That's what I told him in Harrisburg https://t.co/SzV5QNHdN6

For better or worse, America's famously thin-skinned president was not at home to confront his doppelgänger Wednesday, as he's currently enjoying a 17-day working vacation at his New Jersey golf course.
The National Park Service, which runs the Ellipse, did not immediately respond to Patch's request for comment on the legality of erecting a giant, inflatable chicken with Trump hair across from the White House.
Looks I had a more productive day than @POTUS. https://t.co/QW6aKD1dzA
