WASHINGTON, DC — White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will deliver a briefing for reporters Thursday afternoon at about 1:30 p.m. Eastern. You can watch a live stream of the event here.
She can expect to face questions about a new book on the administration that continues to dog President Trump, especially as former aide Steve Bannon has been quoted as saying a meeting held by campaign officials in Trump tower was "treasonous."
But the press secretary will also likely take questions about the White House's decision to end the voter fraud commission the president had assembled after the 2016 presidential election.

Trump had alleged that as many at 5 million votes in the election might have been fraudulent — despite no evidence supporting this claim and all expert opinion siding against it — and he formed the commission to investigate the matter. But the commission, led by Vice President Mike Pence, faced roadblocks in its efforts from the start and was subsequently slammed with lawsuits launched by opponents.
A live stream for the event will appear above before the briefing begins.
