WASHINGTON, DC — White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders delivered a briefing for reporters Thursday at about 3:30 p.m. Eastern. You can watch it live on Patch.

Thursday marked the first day the White House would hold a full press conference since President Trump went on his trip to Asia.

Earlier in the day, Sen. Al Franken, a Minnesota Democrat, was accused of kissing and groping a woman against her consent. Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle, and even Franken himself, have called for an investigation into his actions. At the same time, Alabama U.S. Senate candidate continues to be dogged by allegations of sexual misconduct as he refuses calls to step aside.
