Whistleblower Claims Trump Made Promise To Foreign Leader: Report
Trump allegedly made a troubling "promise" to a foreign leader, compelling an intelligence official to file a complaint.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — According to an exclusive story by The Washington Post, a whistleblower within the intelligence community claims that President Trump made a troubling promise to a foreign leader.
Michael Atkinson, the intelligence community inspector general, concluded the complaint was "credible and troubling enough to be considered a matter of 'urgent concern'," reports the Post. Atkinson is scheduled to appear before the House Intelligence Community on Thursday that is closed to the public.
The complaint was filed on Aug. 12, while Trump was at his New Jersey golf resort. The Post reports that Trump had had interactions with foreign leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un, leader of North Korea, within several weeks preceding the complaint.
