The Armand Center, Neighbor

The Family Visitation and Exchange Program at the Armand Center provides supervised visits and monitored exchange services to families with a history of domestic violence, substance abuse, child abuse and neglect, mental health issues, and high-conflict parental separation. Children have a safe place to visit and form healthy relationships with their non-custodial parent, or to swap between parents for weekend visits. Parents have no contact while using the service.

The Mission of the Armand Center is to provide an affordable, safe, and family-friendly environment for children to spend quality time with their parents. To provide safeguards for the emotional and physical well-being of parents and their children, and to prevent further acts of violence to survivors of domestic abuse.

Families are self-referred, referred by the courts, attorneys, clinicians, or Child Protective Services. A court order is not required to use our services.

The Armand Center has two locations two serve families in Montgomery County:

Church of the Ascension, 634 Silver Spring Avenue, Silver Spring, MD

Unitarian Universalist Church, 100 Welsh Park Drive, Rockville, MD
