Chattahoochee Nature Center provides unique learning experiences focused on the Chattahoochee River that connect people to the natural world and empower them to positively impact their local environments.

We are a private non-profit Nature Center located on the Chattahoochee River in Roswell located on a beautiful site comprised of 127 acres of native plants and gardens showcasing the beauty of Georgia. Our Discovery Center, with the southeast's only Nature Exchange, the Cowie Weiss theater and hands on exhibits that feature live non-releaseable native wildlife; plus our River Boardwalk, Woodland Trails and Wildlife Walks are home to over 50 species of wildlife. For almost 40 years, this facility has continued to grow and reach out to citizens as a place to explore new ideas and expand their awareness of the natural world. Memberships can be purchased online or in person at the Discovery Center. General Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors 65+ and Students (Ages 13-18), $6 for children 3-12, and free for children 2 and under and MEMBERS. Festivals and special events, programs, workshops and birthday party events are priced separately. Field Trips, Canoe trips and other special programs are also available at additional fees.
