Cheryl Paddack, Community Contributor

Cheryl Paddack has served as the Executive Director of the Novato Youth Center since December 2008. During her 8 year tenure, three new strategic plans and new programs have been launched, in addition to the agency receiving prestigious awards such as Novato Large Business of the Year and Spirit of Marin. Cheryl has a passion for serving youth and ensuring that all youth have access to services so that they can be successful in school and in life. An experienced non-profit and for-profit professional, her strengths include marketing, fundraising and relationship cultivation, community building, and finance and program administration. Before arriving at the Center, she worked for Guide Dogs for the Blind and BC Hydro, Power Smart energy efficient products and services. Cheryl currently serves as a Board Member for Non-Profits’ Insurance Alliance of California, as well as on the following Committees; CVNL Executive Directors’ Roundtable, Marin Subsidized Childcare Directors Committee, Novato Blue Ribbon Coalition for Youth Executive Committee, Marin Promise, Marin Strong Start, and is the Moderator for the Novato Chamber of Commerce Non-Profit Day.

Ms. Paddack holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a double major in Marketing and Economics, from Simon Fraser University/Vancouver, BC. and currently resides in Novato. Both of her college aged children are alumni of the Novato Youth Center’s Child Development Program.
