Chris Moline LEED AP, CAPS, Neighbor

Moline is a long-time resident of Bowie. After graduating from Bowie Senior High School, he joined the Marine Corps and went to Parris Island for Basic Training.  After his service and honorable discharge, he used his GI Bill benefits to get a Bachelor's Degree in journalism from the University of Maryland at College Park.

He obtained his LEED AP certification from the US Green Building Council and has in-depth knowledge of the building industry and how to optimize building performance. His motivation for working to increase building efficiency and sustainability came as a result of his service in the Marines. He also attained the CAPS certification from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and AARP. CAPS stands for Certified Aging in Place Specialist.

He is also author of The Social Media Equation, a licensed skydiver and scuba diver.
