Wee Luv’ Em Day Care & Camp have been providing quality child care and camp experiences for children for over 25 years. We believe in working in partnership with families so that every child has a positive experience while in our care. We consider our center to be your child’s home away from home.

The Wee Luv ‘Em Day Care Center is a private, non-profit Center located on the grounds of the beautiful Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Northport. We are licensed by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services and are also an active member of the Child Care Council of Suffolk County. We welcome children from 8 weeks to 5 years of age. The center is open year round, Monday-Friday, 7:00am-5:30pm, except Federal holidays. Breakfast, lunch and snack are served daily and follow nutritional guidelines as set forth by the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Our staff is highly trained in Early Childhood Development as well as CPR and First Aid Certified and must complete extensive background checks and fingerprinting. Safety and security are of utmost importance. The Northport VA has its own Police Department and Fire Department that provide additional security for our child care center.

The Northport Day Camp (aka Camp Wee Luv ‘Em) offers a full time summer camp as well as a school vacation camp for children in grades Kindergarten through 9th grade. To accommodate the needs of working parents, the summer camp is open the entire summer from 7:00am-6:00pm. Unlike other camps, there are NO sessions. Parents may choose which days or weeks they want their children to attend. Our vacation camp runs from 7:30am-5:30pm for the school breaks in December, February and March/April and also offers flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs. Our reasonable rates and flexible schedule for both camps enable parents to not have to interrupt or alter their typical work schedule.
