Danya Shakfeh has considerable experience in areas of law including contract drafting and enforcement, consumers’ rights, and business and consumer fraud cases. She is especially positioned to successfully negotiate and draft contracts as she regularly defends and litigates contract-based claims. She has successfully advised both businesses and individuals in various industries including the tech, entertainment, educational, and the medical industries.

One highlight from her career came when she served as special co-counsel to the Illinois State Board of Education, helping to recover over $2.2 million in state and federal grant monies that had been misspent or unaccounted for by the school district to which they were given.

Danya Shakfeh has been selected as an Illinois Rising Star for the years 2015-2019. Less than 5% of attorneys in Illinois receive this distinction.

Danya currently lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband and three children. She enjoys reading, writing, business, and fashion.
