Dave Pflieger is a seasoned aviation professional based in Anchorage, AK. With several decades of experience in the aviation industry, Dave Pflieger is one of the country's most revered and sought-after aviation professionals. He is currently the CEO of Ravn Alaska, Alaska's largest airline.

Pflieger has always had a passion for aviation, which he utilized at a young age to forge a successful career for himself. He attended the United States Naval Academy, where he earned his Bachelor of Science. Afterwards, Pflieger attended Emory University - Goizueta Business School, where he earned his MBA. Still eager to pursue his interest in education, David attended the Emory University School of Law and earned his Juris Doctor.

After earning his education, and spending some time in the United States Air Force as a B-52 Instructor pilot and C-130 Aircraft Commander, Dave Pflieger began to venture into the professional side of aviation. His first major position in the aviation industry was serving as the operations attorney for Delta Airlines. After demonstrating his adept ability in aviation, he worked his way up the corporate ladder and earned a position as the VP of operations.

Pflieger, always the go-getter, wanted to explore his entrepreneurial spirit and so he joined the original team that helped found Virgin America. With Dave's assistance, his team was able to grow Virgin America from a small startup to one of America's most well-known and used airlines. During his time at Virgin, Pflieger served as the company's general counsel and senior vice president of legal and government affairs.

After several years at Virgin, Pflieger spent a considerable amount of time as the CEO of several airlines assisting in turning the companies' prospects around. This truly demonstrated his leadership and insight into the aviation industry. Through Dave's dedication and extensive knowledge of aviation, he was able to completely rearrange each company's organizational process and turn profits right around.

Now, Dave Pflieger serves as the CEO of Ravn Airlines. In this position, he is responsible for overseeing each and every aspect regarding the company's day-today operations. From finance to organization to logistics, Dave works his magic on each aspect of the airline, and looks forward to growing the company's revenue and prominence much like he did at his previous airlines.
