David Westling, Neighbor

born 1954 in Chicago IL. Went to college for a brief period. Discovered modern art in earnest 1974. Traveled Europe 1980 for two months. Mexico is my second country. I have been there nine times, "the surrealist country par excellence" according to Andre Breton. What festoons my bowers with extravagant blooms is the Surrealist adventure. Readings in German Romanticism, American political theory, Aristotle, Bentham, Dostoevsky, Helvetius. I tune pianos for a living.
