Jim has been forecasting professionally for over 15 years. Recently, he was producing forecasts for Providence, RI and Boston, MA for Examiner.com.

Most of Jim's meteorology experience has been in the world of marine meteorology. He has created forecasts for ships at sea, along with oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico and along the east coast of South America. Jim worked for five years for WeatherNews Americas and three years for ImpactWeather. Also, he has worked for Precision Weather Forecasting, which produces forecasts for clients around Southern New England.
