Evelyn Hoffmann's articles have also appeared in The Garden City News, The Garden City Life, and elsewhere on Long Island. A former teacher who has worked in the Communications Industry, she led external publicity for Café Ablaze during its decade of service. She is also author of two related educational alphabet picture story books for preschoolers. Known as "The Line and Curve Books," they are exclusively available on Amazon.com as e-books and their titles are "Contortionists Line and Curve Save Their Jobs Alphabetically" and "Air Draw a To z With Line and Curve." In them, her two main characters go on alphabet shaping, job changing adventures that make learning lower case English alphabet letter shapes memorable and fun, especially for those with letter reversal issues.
