A native of Fairfield, Conn., he graduated from St. Michael's College with a bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communication, with a concentration in English literature. It was while with the Citizen that he earned three awards from the New England Press Association: first place environmental reporting; second place general news; third place social issues feature.
Gary went on to work at other award-winning publications in the Brooks Community Newspapers chain — as managing editor of the Greenwich Citizen, the Westport News and, before joining Patch, editor of the Fairfield Citizen and Westport News.
As a regional editor at Patch, Gary works with a team of professional journalists to deliver excellent local news to our audience.
