Ivana De Domenico, Neighbor

Ivana De Domenico is a Salt Lake City-based researcher, scientist, and global traveler. With seven years of experience in laboratory training and supervision as well as a Ph. D. from the University of Messina in Italy, Ivana brings a variety of expertise to her career. Her emphasis is on biological sciences and has published her work in multiple scholarly journals.

Ivana De Domenico understands the importance of world culture, and tries to immerse herself in any country she visits, learning the language and customs of each. Her grasp of five languages is, according to her, one of the best ways to connect with individuals around the globe. Her favorite part of travel is sampling local cuisine, and some of her favorites include the fare of the Mediterranean as well as Ugali, cornmeal porridge from Kenya, and Borscht, a Russian beet soup. Ivana is also an avid photographer, chronicling her various travels.

Currently, Ivana De Domenico is working toward her MBA at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Her other hobbies include opera, reading, swimming, and tennis.
