Dr. Jack Von Bulow was born, raised, and still lives just outside of Los Angeles in the San Gabriel valley; he’s practiced dentistry there for over 35 years. Although one might reason several decades spent in dentistry or anything else translates into a certain chronological result, Dr. V assures us his physiological age lands him somewhere between 32 and 35.

Von Bulow received his Bachelor of Science degree from Cal State University, Los Angeles and his DDS from University of Southern California. Dr. V’s practice emphasizes esthetic dentistry, Invisalign orthodontics, periodontics, and functional care including TMJ-related concerns. Dr. Von Bulow completes more than 200 hours of continuing education per year and is a committed a voice for progressive dentistry and informed patients.

Dr. Von Bulow’s practice intention is “making a world-class difference for others and making dentistry fun.” Dr. V. and team participate in multiple community projects, including Smiles for Life and Pasadena’s Foundation for Living Beauty.

Dr. Von Bulow is a member of the American Academy for Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy for Laser Dentistry, and the prestigious Crown Council; he’s also a Board member for the American Academy of Clear Aligners (where he mentors 30 general dentists throughout North America.) Doc’s been named one of America’s Top Dentists in 2008 through 2018. Dr. V has also been featured in Pasadena Magazine as one of the Top Dentists 2011 through 2018. Von Bulow has received Temple City’s Camelia Award for public service and was named Arcadia’s Top Businessperson in 2005.

In his spare time, Von Bulow enjoys reading, the movies, and exercising at a level some might consider obsessive-compulsive. Dr. V is also an unreformed USC football fanatic; he’s written a weekly column for local newspapers for over 20-years and has published three books: Can we Smile? Molar Jockey Memoirs, and The Most Interesting Dentist in the World.

Dr. Von Bulow’s written perspective on dentistry, health, and the world is his own, coming from the lighter, humorous side and embracing the picture. Von Bulow asks, “Why not practice effective business, health care, and dentistry within a culture of love, humor, and compassion?”
