Whole Foods Ramps Up Prop. 37 Support
Company Co-CEO Walter Robb touts Proposition 37, which would require the labeling of genetically engineered food.

I’m an award-winning journalist who was born and raised in Boise, Idaho (yep, I’m a city girl in Idaho terms). I earned my bachelor’s in journalism from the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho.
For nearly four years I was an editor at Marinscope Newspapers. I spent most of my time as editor of the Sausalito Marin Scope, writing about everything from adorable stranded sea lions to visiting mega yachts to the Sausalito City Council’s contentious local politics.
I have earned top journalism honors from the California Newspaper Publishers Association (CNPA), Idaho Press Club and National Association of Hispanic Journalists. Most recently I earned first place awards for coverage of local government and coverage of youth, as well as an award for environmental reporting, from the CNPA.
If I’m not working, you may find me …
Dancing. I did ballet for more than 14 years but recently became obsessed with recreational dance classes in samba, afro-Brazilian and Latin dance. I was a regular at Roco Dance in Fairfax, but I’m taking a hiatus from dance to recover from an injury. I’m hoping to be back on the dance floor this summer.
Hiking. I’m the kind of person who doesn’t like to be inside on a sunny weekend. Marin’s hiking options are endless – what an incredible place to live!
Traveling. I spent a semester in Spain in 2007 and haven’t gotten rid of the travel bug since. I’ve been to 22 countries, but now I only cross oceans once or twice a year. I do, however, enjoy taking lots of weekend trips within the West Coast.
Eating tapas. Living in the Bay Area has made me extra obsessed with food. Tapas are my favorite, but I’m looking forward to trying lots of San Anselmo and Fairfax restaurants.
