I love lighthouses. I've had the privilege of visiting a few. I even bought a Lighthouse Passport that is stamped at every lighthouse I visit. Oh, did I mention that I also collect them? For years, I have been fascinated by their architectural design, but mostly by their purpose. My dream is to one day own a lighthouse or at least live in a house where my "man cave" is designed to resemble one. Lighthouse Devotions is intended to reflect the peace, the strength, and the hope I experience in the presence of lighthouses. But these inspirations would be meaningless if they did not bring glory, honor and praise to One who is the true beacon of light to the world, my savior Jesus Christ.

I have been married to the most amazing woman in the world, Maribel LaSalle Rodriguez, for 25 years and had the three most beautiful kids with her, Gabriel, Joanna, and Joshua. I am currently serving as Associate Pastor at River of Life Church located at 174 Holmes Street in Belleville. My hobbies include writing, wire art, and cooking.
