John Roos, Community Contributor

John Roos has been freelance writing in Orange County since 1984. He has focused on pop music features and reviews with an emphasis on underexposed local musicians and national acts which still value creative independence. John has also worked for many years as a volunteer for the Newport Beach Film Festival (NBFF), and critical review judge for the Southern California Journalism Education Association (SCJEA).
