Young Writers Workshops, Neighbor

Participants learn strategies to invent, develop, and revise material using the writer’s most essential tools—language, imagination, craft, sight, and insight. Writers will have the opportunity to participate in instructor-led peer workshops. They’ll have the opportunity to examine some exceptional modern works, in order to become more astute readers. All of this will take place in places that will nurture the creative mind and spirit, like eastern, north shore Long Island parks, beaches, and nature preserves. Locations will be tailored to registrant preference.
