Reclaiming and Grading Nod Road Begins; Occasional Closures Anticipated
The process of reclaiming and grading Nod Road starts June 10 and will continue for about four days, according to Clinton Public Works. The road will be restricted to alternating one way traffic and may be occasionally shut down during the day.

New Proposed Budget for East Haddam Set at $28.35 Million
At Thursday night's Board of Finance Meeting, the motion to approve the new budget proposal of $28,351,214 for the 2013-2014 fiscal year passed. This would mean a mill increase of 4.49 mills and a tax increase of 3.1%.
