Natures Theater, Neighbor

We created Nature’s Theater when we saw childhood moving from outdoors to indoors. We felt compelled to help today’s kids get outside to touch and feel Nature, and play the roles of Earth Stewards. With costumed characters as their guides, a Nature's Theater adventure captures and awakens children’s imaginations. We saw a need, and now 25 outdoor walking plays later, we’ve given young kids a fantastical and fun way to be champions of the natural world.

We also recruit youth to play the costumed characters and guide roles and perform for other kids – as many are ready to try on the role of leader/mentor for others.

We are currently running a sleep away summer camp for kids on the shores of Lake Berryessa. With the story about fire - we create this camp as an opportunity for children affected by the fires to feel empowered and find more understanding. It runs June 24 to June 29 2018. A group anywhere in the world can run these adventures, as we now have 3 of our stories published and with easy instructions on how to run them. One our website – www.naturestheater.org – you can find “Birdman”, “Animal Circle Club”, and “Nature Heroes”. The experience is so memorable for all involved. You’ll also find some theatrical plays we offer for theater groups to produce. Themes for the plays include climate change, eating healthy, and kids saving the world from eco disasters.
