State Rep. Sam Yingling, Community Contributor

Sam Yingling and his family are life-long residents of Lake County. They have deep roots in our community and have been small-business owners for three generations. Sam currently resides in Grayslake.

Sam is a full-time state legislator who was sworn in on Janurary 9th for his first term. He currently serves on the Appropriations-General Service, Economic Development, State Government Administration, Transportation, Regulation, Roads and Tollway Oversight Committees.

He graduated from DePaul University of Chicago where he studied Public Policy & Administration and Metropolitan Land Use (Urban Planning) and Political Science.

Sam has served as Avon Township Supervisor, president of Round Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.
