A champion of strong math & science performance inside our elementary schools because local kids deserve to have the skills demanded by 21st Century opportunities. Retired from a global IT solutions company. Earlier in life, an Air Force navigator/weapons officer flying aboard the F-111 fighter-bomber. Lived in Newport since 1992, volunteered with several groups -- the city's police and fire pension funds, the Point Association, Rose Island Lighthouse Foundation, Newport Public Education Foundation. In addition to advocacy for STEAM education within RI schools, main hobby is amateur radio (call sign K1NPT) and helping our 15 year old son with his Boy Scout and projects. My wife of 31 years, Beth, has deep RI roots and is also active on the civic scene.
