Nayda Rondon, a Bergen County resident for more than 15 years, is an editor/writer with more than 20 years of experience editing/writing for diverse national and regional publications, blogs and organizations on wide-ranging topics such as parenting, lifestyle, kids and young adults, collectibles, multicultural, volunteering, non-profit, minority and diversity issues, health and fitness, and wellness. She has written two non-fiction, hardcover books for adults and co-authored a children's cookbook that “sneaks” in science, math and chemistry lessons into fun cooking projects. She authored the children’s book "Ali and the New Girl ¡Hola, Mi Amiga!," a picture book for young readers ages 5-8 that teaches lessons of multicultural and intergenerational diversity, standing up for yourself and others, and having the pride and courage to celebrate our unique differences while still embracing our shared humanity are meant for people of all cultures, races and ages. In addition to her writing and editing, Nayda is the communications and community outreach specialist for the New York City-based Art Beyond Sight, a nonprofit that inspires and provides resources across the cultural sector for the full integration of people with disabilities.

A graduate of Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, she also holds a master's degree in Spanish literature from New York University. She is the proud mom of one amazing daughter and aunt to several nieces and nephews. She lives in Hillsdale, NJ, with her husband and their daughter. She loves traveling, reading, and discovering the people, experiences, and places and things that make this wonderful county of ours so special and unique.
