Bio: Outside of writing, I enjoy doing things involving the outdoors including hiking, camping, cycling and occasionally running with Camus, my existential Shar-Pei-Labrador-Pit Bull mix, whom I rescued in 2009. I also like to travel a fair amount. I can speak, read and write French and Haitian Creole.

Politics: I'm liberal on most issues though I hold conservative stances on some topics. I am a registered Democrat but have voted for Republicans in some local, state and national elections.
Religion: I am an observant Roman Catholic and member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Atlanta's Old Fourth Ward.
Local Hot-Button Issues: What do you think are the most important issues facing the community? Crime and quality of life issues like traffic, the pains of gentrification and the quality of public schools.
