Gurwin Jewish provides health care and senior living options for individuals on Long Island. They offer long-term skilled nursing care and short-term rehabilitation in the 5-star, 460-bed Gurwin Jewish Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, providing such specialty services as ventilator care and palliative and hospice care. Outreach programs include two home care programs; social and medical adult day health programs offered six days a week; and an on-site dialysis center serving both participants in Gurwin programs as well as members of the local community. A 200-apartment assisted living community, the Gurwin Jewish ~ Fay J. Lindner Residences, shares the 67-acre campus, and plans and marketing are currently underway for Gurwin’s newest venture to serve the aging Long Island population: Fountaingate Gardens, an independent housing community which will create a Continuing Care Retirement Community on the Commack campus.
