I love news and I love technology, so I feel very lucky to be living in an era when the two are evolving so rapidly. I sometimes wonder if there will ever be a period of stability as long-lasting as the one dominated by the triad of print, radio and TV.
What excites me about my position at Patch is that this is a company that's not only willing to try new things, but actively seeking them out. It also allows us to customize coverage neighborhood-to-neighborhood and breaks up the homogenous style of coverage that is the norm in traditional formats.
