Duo Amie, Neighbor

Cellist Julie Reimann and Pianist Ellyses Kuan met while performing at a concert to benefit a Boston-based medical charity. A close friendship and musical collaboration quickly developed between them, and since then the two women have been performing together in venues throughout Massachusetts. In 2015, Julie and Ellyses founded Duo Amie to bring people together through the beauty and universality of music, while supporting non-profit organizations dedicated to caring for and enriching our shared community. Duo Amie's repertoire is diverse, and both performers delight equally in exploring classical, contemporary, and popular music forms.
