Scott Larson, Neighbor

Scott Larson is the owner of SAFETY NJ LLC which provides American Heart Association CPR and First Aid training. SAFETY NJ LLC also sells most major brands of AED's (automated external defibrillators). Most recently SAFETY NJ LLC started selling First Aid Supplies. Scott came to SAFETY NJ LLC with over 40 years of EMS experience. He is a volunteer member of the Cedar Grove Ambulance & Rescue Squad and has serving as their president, training officer and ambulance lieutenant.

Scott has previously worked for Saint Michael’s Medical Center as Director of EMS Training overseeing the EMT, ACLS and CPR training for 17 years and for LifeSavers, Inc. as Vice President of Operations. While at Saint Michael’s Medical Center, he served on the Code Blue Committee, Employee Satisfaction Committee and Emergency Preparedness Committee. Scott is past Chair of the American Heart Association Emergency Cardiac Care (ECC) Committee for New Jersey and has served as a member of the AHA PROAD committee based out of the AHA national headquarters in Texas.

Scott has been teaching American Heart Association courses since the 1970’s.

Additionally, Scott is past co-chair of the North Jersey Chapter of the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association.
