Scott Maurice, Neighbor

Scott Maurice is a Seattle-based IT expert and one of the founding members of Avail Partners, a consulting agency with a focus on technology, particularly as it relates to cloud computing and healthcare compliance. Scott and Avail strive to provide genuine solutions instead of quick fixes, with an emphasis on long-term improvements that save companies dividends in the future.

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Scott Maurice started his career in finance after graduating from Cornell University. Not long after, he decided to reassess his career and move into technology, starting as a network engineer. It was then that he established himself as an IT professional in the Pacific Northwest. Scott eschewed the traditional corporate approach to IT, instead opting to work as a consultant. He worked to understand client needs and find the ideal solution for each company and industry. It was this client-first approach that led to him cofounding Avail Partners.

In many technology-driven industries, even tenured business leaders can lack the knowledge of how to proceed and ensure future success. Scott Maurice and Avail Partners have worked to bring a level of transparency and communication to the industry, giving executives the tools they need to innovate without fear. They emphasize compliance in healthcare, as new standards such as HIPAA have required organizations to upgrade outdated systems. Scott recognizes healthcare as one of the biggest new frontiers for improving data distribution, and strives to help identify new opportunities in the industry. He believes that it's time for organizations to reimagine their IT departments and look for third-party solutions to problems that in-house staff are not equipped to handle.

Outside of his career, Scott Maurice enjoys spending time with his family. They are particularly fond of the outdoor adventures that Idaho has to offer.
