Adam Hochfelder, Neighbor

Born 1971 in Old Westbury, New York, Adam Hochfelder had a modest upbringing as a son of a garment manufacturer. From the early age, Hochfelder strived to achieve great things. His journey of self-realization began with enrolling at Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. While still at university, Hochfelder managed to get an internship position at a major real-estate service company.

The ambitious entrepreneur took the best of that opportunity, and after acquiring enough experience, Adam Hochfelder decided to try his luck and start his own business venture. Thus in 1996, Max Capital was founded. Lead by Mr. Hochfelder, Max Capital quickly became one of New York’s most popular real estate companies. Building an impressive commercial real-estate portfolio and acquiring some of NYC’s most elite properties, was only the beginning for Adam Hochfelder.

By the time he turned 30, Adam Hochfelder had earned his reputation as a real estate star executive, with impressive achievements and promising future. Some of his early-day achievements include his appointment on the Real Estate Board of New York, joining the NYC’s Economic Development Committee on Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s invitation and getting invited to serve alongside Deputy Mayor Dan Doctoroff on NYC’s bid committee to bring the 2012 Summer Olympics to New York.

This real estate executive is also known for his philanthropic personality, as he has successfully funded the development of the NYC Parenting Center which aids the first time mother's in need and has funded the development of low-income housing in New York and Philadelphia. Hochfelder has also contributed to HELP USA and has been an active coach in youth sports in Manhattan. Throughout his career, he has won numerous awards and recognition by National Charities. Currently, Adam Hochfelder serves as Managing Director of Real Estate Acquisitions & Development at Merchants Hospitality and in his spare time enjoys going to sport matches and bounding with his children.
