Since 1958, Las Trampas has helped individuals with developmental disabilities to discover their capabilities and to lead fuller lives in their homes, at work and in the community. Las Trampas provides a nurturing, innovative learning environment for individuals with disabilities that include intellectual disabilities, autism, cerebral palsy, and visual, hearing and or physical limitations. We provide Residential Homes, Day Development and Vocational Programs, and Supported and Independent Living services. Adult learning resources on campus include; art workshops, math and reading skills, dance and fitness room, computer skills and positioning options for those who are non-ambulatory. Our people attend a garden and greenhouse which provides fresh vegetables which are prepared in our kitchen and work in our community parks. They also perform community service for Trevor's blankets and make blankets for children at Oakland Children’s Hospital. Plus they recycle hotel toiletries and refill them to donate to the homeless shelters.
