St. George's by the River, Neighbor

St. George's-by-the-River Episcopal Church is a historic church at 7 Lincoln Avenue in Rumson, Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States.

We come together each Sunday and throughout the week every week to give thanks to Jesus the Christ through the sharing of The Word and the Celebration of the Sacraments. We are traditional and progressive, cradle and brand new, single and partnered, young and old, Episcopalians and people from a myriad of religious backgrounds who are guided by the Holy Spirit to live our lives as Christians in Rumson and beyond the parish’s walls. We regularly hold services on Sunday morning at 8:00 am and 10:00 am. The early service follows Rite I and is without music; the latter service follows Rite II from the Book of Common Prayer and includes either the adult or children's choir.

Occasionally we have a combined service of Morning Prayer and Eucharist.

A Service of Eucharist is also celebrated every Wednesday at 12 Noon with a Service of Healing.

During Lent Evening Prayer is offered every evening at 6 pm.
