Thurayya is currently a student at The University of Akron studying Nonprofit Management in Public Administration/ Urban Studies, while finishing her Master's in Arts Administration. She is Team Leader of The Walks of Sunshine, and volunteers at Standing Rock Cultural Arts Center.
