Travis Curtright is the Chair of Humanities and Liberal Studies Department at Ave Maria University. A lover of the arts, Travis has training from the American Shakespeare Center as well The Second City in Chicago. In addition, he is the Editor for Moreana: A Journal of Thomas More and Renaissance Studies, and fellow at the Center for Thomas More Studies at the University of Dallas.
His scholarly work extends outside of the classroom, with his work culminating in two books: The One Thomas More, and Shakespeare's Dramatic Persons. He is also the co-editor of Shakespeare's Last Plays: Readings in Literature and Politics.
Travis Curtright, along with his wife Mary, run the Shakespeare in Performance Camp. The camp serves as a place for young actors to hone their skills, envelop themselves in classic Shakespearian literature, and work with the troupe of Shakespeare in Performance, a minor of studies at Ave Maria University of which Travis is the Director.
