State Senator Opens Nothing Bundt Cakes in Taylorsville
Lincoln Fillmore Happy to Build a Legacy for His Kids on Same Ground He Walked as a Child

As a child in Taylorsville, Lincoln Fillmore loved baking cakes with his mother. Years passed, he got married, became a state senator and has always been more of a ‘cream pie guy.’ “Life got busier and cake became a less frequent treat,” recalls Fillmore. “But, when I tasted my first Nothing Bundt Cake, it was like going back to childhood...baking in the kitchen with my mother, using all fresh ingredients and serving our handmade creation to loved ones.” Fillmore says that he is particularly excited to open in Taylorsville close to where he grew up. “It’s important that our kids have the opportunity to build memories like we did, grow up and then return to give back to the neighborhoods that gave them so much.” Fillmore opens the new bakery with indispensable partners Max Meyer and Mandee Thompson. The bakery will celebrate their grand opening the second week of November, including a Benefit Day to support the Taylorsville Food Pantry (see details below).
