University Of Utah Student Vanishes After Lyft Ride From Airport
Police are searching for 23-year-old Mackenzie Lueck, who was last seen taking a Lyft ride from Salt Lake City International Airport.

SALT LAKE CITY, UT — Police are searching for a 23-year-old University of Utah student who was last seen taking a Lyft ride from Salt Lake City International Airport to North Salt Lake City. Mackenzie Lueck returned to Salt Lake City June 17th and was last seen in the early morning hours that day, which was a Monday.
Police said they're conducting a missing persons investigation and have spoken with Lyft as well as the Lyft driver. Both are cooperating with investigators.
Police said they have not uncovered any information that would suggest Lueck was hurt or in danger, but noted investigators are concerned about her well-being.

Lueck had been attending a funeral for a family member in California, KSTU-TV reported. She sent her parents a text message around 1 a.m. notifying them she landed.
Lueck’s friend Ashley Fine told The Salt Lake Tribune that Lueck didn't show up for work at a Millcreek medical lab and didn't go to her classes.

Alumnae of the university's Alpha Chi Omega sorority posted fliers in the area on Friday, Fine said.
"We went by her home. We wanted to be close to her," Fine said.
Lueck stands 5-feet-6-inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. She has a slim, athletic build, medium length blonde hair and brown eyes.
