Utah Connections Academy Opens Enrollment for 2020-21 School Year

Woods Cross, Utah – Utah Connections Academy, a full-time, tuition-free, statewide online public school, has opened enrollment for the 2020-21 school year. Utah Connections Academy offers students who need an alternative to the traditional classroom the flexibility to learn from anywhere with an Internet connection and enjoy a well-rounded student experience. According to the annual 2019 Parent Satisfaction Survey, 51% of parents enrolled their children in Utah Connections Academy because they were in need of a flexible schedule.

Utah Connections Academy is in its ninth year providing students a flexible online learning option and serves more than 1,200 students in grades K-12 across the state. “After moving to Utah, I was looking for an education option we could do at home that had a structured curriculum. My children previously had long school hours and a strict schedule at their other school,” said Pooja Arora, a Learning Coach for her fourth-grade twins, Soham and Ishaan. “Now they have more time to train for soccer, take gifted and talented classes, have joined the school’s many clubs, and their teacher is super approachable often replying to any question in a couple of minutes,” she added.

Utah Connections Academy offers an individualized approach to learning, which combines state-certified teachers, an award-winning curriculum, technology tools and socialization opportunities. Utah Connections Academy students meet regularly in online LiveLesson® classroom sessions and have opportunities to share ideas, compare experiences, and have fun learning with their peers. They also have access to a variety of courses, including engaging electives, Career Technical Education courses, and honors and Advanced Placement ® (AP) courses.
