Where Are Utahns Most Likely to Die in an Accident?
Motor vehicle accidents can occur just about anywhere but some roadways in Utah are more likely to see fatalities than others.

Motorists in Utah might want to be more alert when traveling on I-15, US-89, I-80, according to a car accident lawyer in Ogden.
Data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration showed that in 2015 (the latest available data), those were the roadways where the most fatalities occurred in all of Utah.
There were 25 fatalities recorded on I-15 in 2015, the highest in the state. US-89 and I-80 came in second highest at 16 fatalities each.

Ranked from highest to lowest, these are the types of vehicles that saw the most fatalities:
- Light trucks – 89
- Passenger vehicles – 85
- Motorcycles – 41
- Pedestrians – 35
- Other/unknown – 22
- Bicycles – 5
- Large trucks – 4
