Willie Nelson Cancels Concert, Says Utah Is Just Too High For Him
Nelson has already canceled several concerts this year due to what his publicist said was a bad cold.

SALT LAKE CITY, UT — Utah is apparently too high for country music star Willie Nelson, who ended his show early Sunday night in the Salt Lake City suburb of West Valley City.
Nelson apologized for ending his show early at the USANA Amphitheatre in a statement posted to his Twitter and Facebook accounts. The 84-year-old country music legend explained:
This is Willie I am sorry to have to cut the SLC show short tonight The altitude got to me I am feeling better now & headed for lower ground

Nelson's publicist didn't immediately respond to a request for further comment Monday. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts. If you have an iPhone, click here to get the free Patch iPhone app.)
