Collaboration with Town Clerks
In addition, JPus was a guest of the Vermont Municipal Clerk and Treasurer's Association. Town clerks issue marriage licenses, and work closely with the JPs who witness the couple's affirmation and file the legal documentation. Jay continued, "Nurturing our partnerships supports our members' success. We are grateful to VMCTA for welcoming us, and providing the opportunity for continued collaboration."

Professional Standards
JPus leads the community with professional standards for officiants, and all JPus members abide by a Code of Ethics. Likewise, the association is a collective voice for its membership, making sure that their needs are heard in the media and government. In order to accommodate the state's rural nature and lower population, JPus is offering a 50% discount on all Vermont memberships. Follow this link for more information.
