Customers help White River Subaru raise $20,000 for charities
Memorial Day weekend marks final push to support Cover Home Repair, the Wise Center and the Upper Valley Humane Society
White River Junction, VT – Automobile buyers across White River Junction and The Upper Valley have helped drive a major fundraising effort for three local charities past the $20,000 mark, White River Subaru announced today.
White River Subaru earlier this year unveiled its grand re-opening under new 100-percent local ownership through a partnership between long-time northern New England auto retail executive Christopher Konovalchik and David Rosenberg – co-founder of the Ira Jack brand and one of the most experienced dealership owners in the industry.
As part of the grand re-opening, White River Subaru announced it would make a donation for every new Subaru sold between February 1 and May 31 to either the Upper Valley Humane Society, Cover Home Repair or the Wise Center. Total donations to the three charitable organizations have now exceeded $20,000.

“The response from our customers has been remarkable, and they clearly share one of our core philosophies – which is the importance of supporting local communities,” said Konolvalchik, co-owner and general manager of White River Subaru. “We also treat our customers like family. And I’m happy to say that together this ‘family’ has made a real impact for these great organizations.”
White River Subaru is a 150-car per month dealership that employs approximately 60 people full-time. The dealership is strongly committed to the Subaru Love Promise – a core value of Subaru and company pledge to “show love and respect to customers and to work to make a positive impact in the world.” It serves the entire White River Junction and Upper Valley region, as well as Dartmouth, West Lebanon and other communities in north central New Hampshire.

“The great success of our grand re-opening promotion and the money it has created for these important mission-based charities is incredibly gratifying,” said Rosenberg, White River Subaru’s Dealer Principal and Co-Owner. “Our customers are tremendously supportive of us, and together we can help support our communities.”
All sales of new Subarus through the Memorial Day weekend and close of busines on Memorial Day (Monday, May 31) will raise additional funds for White River Subaru’s three target charities.
Rosenberg and Konovalchik acquired the Subaru franchise at 429 Sykes Mountain Ave. in October 2020, seeking to further enhance the customer-focused and community-oriented dealership through 100-percent local ownership and operations.
