Meet an “Amazing” With a Pair of Amazing Buddies
Kayaking is his passion, but he didn't want to leave his two favorite friends.
When orthopedic surgeon David Bahnson, 67, retired, he finally had time to indulge in his favorite hobby, kayaking. But here’s the rub: he didn’t want to leave his best buddies, his Golden Retrievers, looking longingly at him from the shore. So, he re-purposed the baggage compartment to the rear of the kayak to accommodate one of his dogs, then did some more creative carpentry to accommodate dog number 2.
He has since traveled many miles with his beloved pets who seem to truly enjoy the adventure!
