Saint Leo U Postpones Commencement For Virginia Centers

Ceremony Will Be Rescheduled For Another Date

As a result of recent preventative recommendations for the coronavirus, Saint Leo University has announced it will postpone its Virginia commencement ceremony, originally scheduled for Saturday, May 16. The ceremony will be rescheduled for a later date.

These decisions to delay commencement were not made lightly, Saint Leo officials said, as “Commencement is such an important time for our students, their families, and the entire university community.”

About 450 students are expected to graduate from Saint Leo’s eight Virginia education centers. Students now are taking their classes online. Education center staff members are working from home, assisting students, and registering students for summer and fall classes.
