ALDI Is Holding A Hiring Event In Annandale

ANNANDALE, VA—ALDI, a German-based grocery store chain is hiring in the Annandale area.

The chain is hosting hiring events across the region, including at its Annandale store at 7006 Columbia Pike, which opened in May. The hiring event will be 9 a.m. to noon on Sunday, Aug. 13.

Other hiring events in the area include Wednesday, Aug. 9 from 7 a.m. to noon at 6129 Backlick Road in Springfield and Saturday, Aug. 12 from 9 a.m. to noon at 11001 Lee Highway in Fairfax. ALDI is seeking store associates starting at $13.25 per hour, shift managers $17.75 per hour and manager trainee positions. $25 per hour. Store managers can earn $85,000 to $100,000 per year. Employees working an average 25 hours a week are eligible for full health insurance benefits and dental coverage.

Job requirements are:

• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., Monday - Sunday
• Retail experience preferred
• Management experience preferred for Manager Trainees
• Drug screening and background check
• Ability to lift 45 pounds
