Armed Suspect Robs Annandale Gas Station: Police
Police helicopter, K9 searched for suspect Tuesday morning in armed robbery of Annandale gas station.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police say that the Shell gas station at 7413 Little River Turnpike was robbed at knifepoint Tuesday morning.
Police were called just before 7:30 a.m. Tuesday; police say a man entered the Shell gas station and made a purchase, and when the clerk opened the cash register, the suspect displayed a knife, took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and ran out. The clerk was not injured.
FCPD K9 police dogs and the Fairfax 1 helicopter responded to help with the search. The suspect was described as black, in his 20s, 6 feet to 6 feet 5 inches tall, around 180 pounds, police said. He was wearing all black clothing, sunglasses and a knit cap.
