Fairfax County Announces Inauguration Day Schedule
Fairfax County would like to remind residents administrative offices will be closed, but there will be no change to trash and recycling.
From Solid Waste Program: Please be advised that there will be no change in the trash and recycling collection schedule for Friday, January 20, 2017 (Inauguration Day). In order to ensure that all trash/recycling is collected please make sure that all materials are at the street line by 6 AM on Friday morning.
Our administrative office will be closed Friday, January 20 for Inauguration Day. The office will reopen at 7:30 AM on Monday, January 23.
The Recycling and Disposal Centers at the I-66 Transfer Station (4618 West Ox Road) and the I-95 Landfill Complex (9850 Furnace Road) will both be open on Friday, January 20, 2017.
