
The Taste of Annandale 5K race takes place just before the fourth annual Taste of Annandale, a street festival, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., along Tom Davis Drive, with food trucks, live music and dance, beer garden, children’s programming, a pet contest, chili cook-off, and more.
The 5K starts at 9:30 a.m. in the Kmart parking lot, 4251 John Marr Drive. The course heads along Columbia Pike and through the trails in Mason District Park.
The race is certified by USA Track & Field (certificate #17034RT).

The entry fee is $25 for runners 15 and over and $15 for younger runners. The entry fee includes a T-shirt while supplies last.
Race day registration is 8:15-9 a.m. and ends promptly at 9. Runners may park at Kmart.

There will be awards for the top three males and females overall and for the fastest runners in several age categories: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and up. The awards will be presented on the stage at the Taste of Annandale.
